Ocado online supermarket has partnered with M&S Food and it is looking to recruit Delivery Drivers to deliver groceries in East/West London.
You’ll work on a shift pattern that covers both early mornings (could be as early as 05:30), late evening shifts (could be finished as late as midnight) and weekends. Each day you work you’ll be glad to hear that your van will be pre-loaded for you along with a pre-loaded route before delivering our customers’ orders.
Ocado drivers spend much of their working day on their own but are very much part of the Ocado team. Being a delivery driver is a physical role and you could be carrying shopping of multiple crates. Each crate currently weighing upto 18kg (equivalent to carrying 9 x 2L bottles of water) and these will need to be delivered to each customer. As part of your role, you’ll be delivering shopping into people’s homes which can be up or down numerous flights of stairs. If there is no lift, we still guarantee the same service.
While driving experience in London is a bonus for Ocado delivery drivers, Ocado recruitment team is more interested in your enthusiasm, friendly personality, and willingness to go the extra mile for our customers. We also ask that you’d be prepared to work various shifts, and pay rates vary between times and/or days you work. Please see below as an example.
Monday to Saturday hours worked before 6 pm will be £11.06 per hour
Monday to Saturday hours worked after 6 pm will be £12.28 per hour
Sunday hours worked before 6 pm will be £13.83 per hour
Sunday hours worked after 6 pm will be £15.35 per hour
