Forklift driver / Warehouse Operative - Dagenham

A Storage company in Dagenham is looking for a Warehouse Forklift Operative with at least 5 years storage background. The company is a fast growing storage / consolidation centre and is looking for a hands on, reliable and responsible individual, who is confident enough to work on his own initiative.
The role is vital in keeping us mobile and ensuring our customers get the best possible service.

The Warehouse/FLT operator will be hands on when it comes to people management and making sure the correct procedures are in place, and getting the job done!


Reporting directly to the director and working collaboratively to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse.
Loading/Unloading of HGV vehicles. Checking and measuring the goods as you go to book into the system
Updating Excel spreadsheets daily
Communicating to other members of the team
Provide support to the transport office and drivers.
HGV is desirable but not essential.
Ensuring all operations are carried out within a safe and compliant environment, whilst maintaining high standard of customer service.
To have a good knowledge of storage this will require logging in and out going storage in order for invoicing and general daily supervision of the warehouse.
Be hands on with end to end awareness of inventory flow
Hold a valid FLT licence as you will be the main forklift driver
To make sure the warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times

Job Benefits

Salary from £26,000 to £30,000 (to be reviewed every 6 months)
